Early Bird Special: Taking Care of a Baby
Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds unpacked a diaper bag to find out what our parents have to do to take care of us when we are babies. Our Bible story today is about Sarah, who had a baby named Isaac when she was old.
Nature Nugget: Trees
Trees are big plants that have a woody trunk, branches, and leaves. Some trees lose their leaves when it gets cold. We call those deciduous trees. Other trees keep their leaves all winter long. Those are evergreen trees. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 5:29, " O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" God wants us to be like evergreen trees. No matter if life gets challenging or everyone else around us is being naughty, we can choose to always obey Him with the help of the Holy Spirit.
