Early Bird Special: Hidden Pictures Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds looked for objects in hidden pictures Bible pages to remind them of our Bible story today when Saul lost his sight on the road to Damascus looking for Christians. Nature Nugget: Moon Today during nature time, the children learned that the moon reflects light from the sun at night. Because different parts of the moon are in "shade," it's shape seems to change - called moon phases. God says in Genesis 1:14, "Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.'" Mission Mail: The Missing Glasses Our mission story is about an 11-year old girl named Valerie who attends Riverside Adventist School in Cape Town, South Africa. Valerie is not an Adventist, but she had a special answer to prayer to encouraged her family's faith. One day while playing during recess, Valerie lost her glasses. She was so sad. The teacher invited all the children to pray and then search for the glasses. When the children returned to recess later that day, a few girls knelt again to pray that God would show them where to find Valerie's glasses. Then they saw the glasses in the soccer field.
