Early Bird Special: Noah's Ark Floor Puzzle Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today the early birds put together a giant floor puzzle about Noah's Ark. Nature Nugget: Frogs Frogs are funny looking creatures that are best known for jumping. They like to spend a lot of time in or near water. In fact, they are first born in water from eggs. Baby frogs don't look like adult frogs. They don't even have legs. Instead, they just have a tail. Baby frogs are called tadpoles and live completely in water. Eventually they grow legs and their tails shorten till they look like what we call a frog. Frogs are very noisy, but their sounds don't sound like, "Ribbit." Different frogs make different kinds of sounds to attract mates. If you get close to where the frog sounds come from, they will quickly hide from you. The Bible says in Psalm 116:1, "I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice." God is always listening for our voice praying to Him. Let's not hide from God when He comes near to us. Let's listen to His voice in His Word. Visit the Virginia Herpetological Society to hear different kinds of frog sounds! Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments Children are encouraged to work on memorizing the 10 Commandments. Those that do will get samples of (fool's) gold, frankincense, and myrrh to add to their Bible artifact collection. Your child can practice with me right here. Mission Trip: Leading a Family to Jesus Eduardo's family were not Advenists, but his sister joined pathfinders and had lots of fun. The following year, Eduardo joined pathfinders, too. He and his sister decided to get baptized. Eduardo's mom and dad started coming to church when they had time off from work. When Eduardo's sister moved out of the house, Eduardo walked to church alone. His mother felt bad that he went by himself. She talked to her boss and got Sabbaths off to go to church with him. Then his father and his mother decided to study the Bible, too, and get baptized. Now the whole family is following Jesus and going to church together!
