Early Bird Special: You First! Meal Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today, our early birds pretended to share a meal with one another. They had to offer something to someone else first before taking something for themselves. In our Bible story, Abram lets Lot choose first which place he will move to, so that Abram can move in the opposite direction. Nature Nugget: Singing Birds Birds talk to each other through songs and special calls. Sometimes, their songs tell other birds to stay away because they are too close to their nest. Sometimes, their songs warn other birds that danger is near. Sometimes, they let their friends know that they found food. Little birds chirp to tell mommy bird that they are hungry. Sometimes birds sing songs to win a mate. Do you like to listen to the birds sing? I do. They remind me of Zephaniah 3:17 that says, "[God] will rejoice over you with singing." Yes, our God sings, too, with love for each one of us. Memory Mastery 1: The 10 Commandments I am so proud to announce that our last regularly attending child earned their widow's mites for reciting our Bible Time Line Story Title, "Moses Receives the 10 Commandments, Exodus 24 and 31:18." Now, most children are working on the 10 Commandments. Below are the memory mastery practice audios in this series. Memory Mastery 2: The Lord's Prayer Some of our children have finished the entire 10 Commandments series. They should now memorize the Lord's Prayer. Those who memorize the Lord's Prayer will receive a replica of the oil lamps used in Jesus' day. We are building a Bible artifact collection! Mission Trip: Miss Sonia's House Miss Sonia lives in Montevideo, Uruguay. She loves Jesus and likes to invite children to her house for a fun Bible program. The neighborhood children love to come to Miss Sonia's house to learn about Jesus and the Bible. Some children even take a bus to visit Miss Sonia. Our 13th Sabbath offering is going to help build a Center of Influence in Montevideo, Uruguay. Bible Story: Lot Chooses First Table Time: Abram and Lot Coloring Page Take Home Guide
Below are the prayer verse and prayer prompt for this week's daily devotions.
* We are just a couple of weeks away from 13th Sabbath (March 26). Please consider sending a special offering for the mission project of the world wide church on that date.
