Nature Nugget: Hermit Crabs
During our nature time, the children learned that hermit crabs always have to be on the look out for their next shell-home that protects them from their enemies. Little shells are perfect homes for tiny baby hermit crabs. Bigger shells are good homes for bigger hermit crabs. Hermit crabs like to hang out together. The Bible says, "The Lord will be a shelter for His people," Joel 3:16. God helps the hermit crab seek shelter, and He will take care of us, too.
