Early Bird Special: Make a Sabbath Meal for Unexpected Guests Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today children used fake food to assemble five plates of food for unexpected guests, just like the believers had to do in Jerusalem to accommodate all the people who wanted to stay to hear more about Jesus. Nature Nugget: Chameleons During our nature time, children got to meet a very peculiar lizard, the chameleon. God gave the chameleon a few special abilities so it can always stay hidden. 1. Its skin changes color to match its surroundings. 2. It's eyes can move in different directions, so it is always aware of what's going on all around it. 3. It has a long, sticky tongue that it can shoot out to capture its prey. The Bible says in Psalm 119:73, "Your hands have made me and fashioned me." God made the chameleon so special. He made each of us special, too. Memory Mastery: Moses Receives the 10 Commandments This week we continue practicing this special story until the children learn it. You can practice this story at home with your child using the Memory Mastery review folder you received or with the CD. Visit the 10 Commandments Memory Mastery page for more information and resources. Mission Mail: Lost in the Night Our mission story comes from Botswana. God protected and helped others find a little girl that was lost in the night during an Adventist camp meeting. Bible Story: New Friends
