NOTE: Requirements have been adapted to fit the needs of our club.
1. Review the 5 main characteristics of most insects.
  • 6 legs
  • antennae
  • 3 main body parts (head, thorax, abdomen)
  • exoskeleton
2. Observe some bugs outside and or look at the pictures below. See if you can determine whether they are insects or not based on the characteristics.

3. Tell what is your favorite insect.
4. Do page 9 in the Little Lamb Activity Book. OR Color or draw a picture about insects.
