Early Bird Special: Anytime Binder and Folders Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds got to choose a binder or folder activity that interested them. Nature Nugget: Flowers Flowers are the prettiest part of a plant. They attract pollinators that help the plant start the process of reproduction -- making new seeds for new plants to grow. The lily is a beautiful flower with 6 long petals that sit atop a tall, erect stem. Jesus said in Matthew 6:28, "Why do you worry? Consider the lilies of the field." When we are tempted to get worried about something, Jesus wants us to think about the pretty flowers. God takes care of the flowers to make them so pretty. Surely, he will take care of us, too. Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments We are learning the 10 Commandments right now. Feel free to practice with me right here. Mission Helper: Life on the Island Taiti was 12 years old when he lived on Manihiki Island, an obscure tiny place in the South Pacific Ocean. There they farm oysters for black pearls, fish, and gather coconuts. Life is very peaceful and simple there. Taiti's grandfather started a branch Sabbath school on the island. Taiti enjoyed going and convinced his parents to come. His dad had been an Adventist long ago. Eventually, the branch Sabbath school became so big that they were able to start a church. Taiti's family was baptized. They all love Jesus and want to serve Him. Bible Story: The You First Way Table Time: You First Coloring Page Take Home Guide

Early Bird Special: Taking Care of a Baby Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds unpacked a diaper bag to find out what our parents have to do to take care of us when we are babies. Our Bible story today is about Sarah, who had a baby named Isaac when she was old. Nature Nugget: Trees Trees are big plants that have a woody trunk, branches, and leaves. Some trees lose their leaves when it gets cold. We call those deciduous trees. Other trees keep their leaves all winter long. Those are evergreen trees. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 5:29, " O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" God wants us to be like evergreen trees. No matter if life gets challenging or everyone else around us is being naughty, we can choose to always obey Him with the help of the Holy Spirit. Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments We are focused on memorizing the 10 Commandments and the Good Choices Statement. Can you practice along at home or in the car?
