Early Bird Special: Kneading Play-Doh Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds kneaded play-doh and pressed out fun shapes. Our Bible story today is about a woman who kneaded bread for Elijah. Nature Nugget: Blackberries Blackberries are fun fruits to watch them grow. First they put forth green shoots. Then they put forth green leaves. Then white flowers appear. Then green fruits come out from where the flowers were. The green fruits first turn red, then purple, then black! Finally, they are ready to pluck. Memory Mastery: Creation Week This quarter we are memorizing the days of creation. You can practice along with me right here. Mission Team: The Precious Sabbath Bella lives in Burundi. She loves God and knows it is important to keep the Sabbath. Unfortunately, her school held classes on Saturdays. Thankfully, her first and second grade teacher excused her from Saturday classes, but in third grade, her teacher was not so willing. Bella and her parents prayed, and the teacher finally let Bella take her missed quizzes and exams on Monday. The kids in class were mean to Bella. They said she was lazy. But Bella worked very hard to do well in school AND keep the Sabbath day holy. Bella did so well on her annual exams that she was able to choose a different school for the next year that did not have classes on Saturdays. Is the Sabbath important to you, too? Pray in every difficulty and stay faithful. God will open up a door for you. Bible Story: Miracle Oil Table Time: Elijah Helps a Widow Coloring Page Take Home Guide
