Nature Nugget: Hermit Crabs Have you ever had a hermit crab as a pet? These creatures live in shallow pools of water on the beach beside the ocean. A hermit crab lives in a shell. The shell is not attached to its body. Periodically, as it grows, it has to find a new shell to live in. Without the shell, the hermit crab is very vulnerable to its enemies. It can even pull its whole body inside its shell. The Bible says in Joel 3:16, "The Lord will be a shelter for His people." Just as God helps the hermit crab always find a safe home, we can trust that God will protect us from our enemy Satan. Memory Mastery: Creation Week This quarter we have been learning the days of creation week. I want the children to present what they have learned for the church during divine worship. Will you help your child finish learning this memory mastery project?
