Opening Ceremony: Cheer and Pledge
To start our meeting the Eager Beavers said their opening cheer, which includes reciting their pledge.  

Meeting Themes: Toys and Jesus' Star
Today, the children have begun two new chips, Toys and Jesus' Star.  These are the stations they completed for the Toys chip.

To end our meeting, the children said their goodbye cheer and sang their Bible promise, Philippians 4:4.

Announcements

• We are going to the Science Museum on Sunday, December 13, at 1:45 PM for a special, personalized astronomy presentation by one of their astronomers.  The cost is $5 per person over 3 years old.  Family and friends are welcome to attend.  Please notify me as soon as you can to let me know you are coming.  We need to get our numbers up to at least 35 people.  The presentation will end promptly at 3 PM.  The subject is the stars and constellations.
• In order to earn their Toys chip, Eager Beavers must donate a toy to charity.  If you are on a very short budget, Dollar Tree has a toy donation program (just $1).
• Another at home requirement for the Toys chip is for Eager Beavers to practice picking up their toys for 1 week.
• Children absent from the meeting today will need to complete activities D and E on the Jesus' Star chip page and activities A, B, C, and D from the Toys chip page.
• Our next meeting is Wednesday, December 9 at 6 PM at Richmond Academy room 124.  This is our Christmas party.
