Eager Beavers Meeting December 9

Opening Ceremony: Cheer and Pledge
We started our meeting with our Eager Beaver cheer and pledge.  Children are required to learn their pledge in order to receive their pin at the end of the year.  After the pledge, we said opening prayer.

Meeting Theme: The Story of Bethlehem
For our Christmas party, the Eagers Beavers explored various stations with their parents for hands-on activities centered around the story of Bethlehem.

During circle time, we continued to focus our hearts on the story of Bethlehem with a musical game and story.

Goodbye Cheer and Promise
We ended our meeting with our goodbye cheer, Bible promise, and prayer.

Announcements

• We are going to the Science Museum on Sunday, December 13.  Please meet at the Dome at 1:45 PM.  The show will end promptly at 3 PM.  Bring $5 with you for each person in your party.  Please let me know by email that you are coming so I can have a complete roster.  Feel free to invite your friends.  They just need to email me to confirm.  This is our last event for the year.
• Please make sure during the break, your Eager Beaver makes a small toy donation to a charity OR gives a toy away AND picks up their toys for one week.  
• Our next meeting will be on January 13.  We will have an award ceremony for those who have earned their Toys and Jesus' Star chips.  We will begin our next chips of Alphabet and Sponge Art.
