Eager Beavers Meeting February 3

Opening Ceremony: Opening Cheer and Pledge
We started our meeting as usual with our Eager Beaver cheer and pledge and prayer.

Meeting Theme: Alphabet Fun and Sponge Art
Today we completed a couple of activities station style to complete requirements for the Alphabet Fun and Sponge Art chips.

Circle Time: Group Games
For circle time, we played two fun games as a group.

• Catch that Stick!
• Where's Lumberjack?

In Catch That Stick, children pass around the stick and Lumberjack while clapping. Clap once when you get the stick. Clap twice when you get Lumberjack. How soon will Lumberjack catch that stick?

In Where's Lumberjack?, the children pass Lumberjack around while one child has their eyes closed. When the music stops, the child in the middle tries to guess where Lumberjack is hiding. Everyone's hands are behind their backs.

Closing Ceremony: Goodbye Cheer and Promise
For our closing ceremony, we say our goodbye cheer with our Bible promise song.  Then we end with prayer.
