Early Bird Special: Play-Doh Animal Parade Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today, our early birds used cookie cutters to make Play-Doh animal shapes. We lined them up to make a parade, like in our Bible story, when the animals enter the ark. Nature Nugget: Sand Today we learned that sand is made up of teeny tiny pieces of rock. We can find sand at the ocean. But, we can also find it in the desert, in lakes, and in creeks. If sand gets in your eye, it hurts! The Bible says in Jeremiah 22:3, "Do no wrong." Even the tiniest sin hurts Jesus, others, and ourselves. Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments We are practicing our 10 Commandments right now. I hope you can practice at home. Children who recite the 10 Commandments receive their very own samples of (fool's) gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Mission Trip: Putting Faith to Work There is a boy named Heitor from Belen, Brazil. He and his mom studied the Bible and became Adventist Christians. Heitor's dad didn't like their new religion. He left the house. Heitor prays for his father and works hard to help other children know Jesus by studying the Bible, too. Let's remember to pray for Heitor's family.
