Early Bird Special: Build an Altar Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity in Sabbath School. Today our early birds worked together to build an altar with cardboard bricks. Our Bible story today is about Abram who set up altars for worshiping God every place he went. Nature Nugget: Grapes Grapes are fun, bite-sized berries that grow on a vine. Grapes come in many different colors - blue, green, purple, red. When grapes are left to dry in the sun, they shrivel up and become raisins. When you press the grapes, you can make grape juice. The first miracle Jesus performed was at a wedding. He turned water into grape juice! In John 2:10, the master of the wedding feast said to Jesus, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!" Next time you drink grape juice or eat grapes, remember that Jesus always gives us His very best answer when we ask for His help. Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments Our children are working hard to learn all their memory mastery projects for the 10 Commandments. You can practice with me right here. Mission Trip: The Blind Man Who Sees Today we visit Uruguay and meet a man named Mr. Francisco. After he became blind, a friend told him about an Adventist radio station called Nuevo Tiempo. Mr. Francisco loved learning through the radio about Jesus and healthy living. Soon, he started studying the Bible with a Bible worker. Then he was baptized! Mr. Francisco isn't sad about being blind like he was at first. He sees life in a new way, and he is excited to know and share Jesus with others.
