Early Bird Special: Anytime Binder Children who arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM get to do a bonus activity for Sabbath School. Today our early birds chose an activity to do out of the Anytime Binder which is filled with Bible-based fun activity sheets. Nature Nugget: Earthworms Earthworms are long slender creatures that live in the ground. They eat dirt and decaying matter. They make lots of tunnels underground as they eat and move through it. Earthworms produce something very special called castings. That is their poop. Their castings are very different from the poop of other animals. Their castings are very clean. Their castings have good bacteria and plant nutrients. Their castings help retain water. Their castings enrich the soil, so that plants grow better. Their castings make the very best dirt you have ever seen or touched. Some people call their castings black gold. The Bible says in Job 14:3, “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean thing? No, not one!” We cannot change the bad things in our character. But just as the earthworm transforms decaying waste into the very best soil, God alone has the power to change us into good people through His Holy Spirit. Memory Mastery: The 10 Commandments We are learning the meaning of the first four commandments right now. You are encouraged to help your child memorize all the commandments, so they can receive (fool's) gold, frankincense, and myrrh to add to their Bible artifact collection. You can practice with me right here. Mission Helper: Helping People Kelthon is only 5 years old, but he loves doing local missionary work with his parents. He gives money to the homeless. He brings food to the hungry. He brings cards to the sad. He visits the children in the hospital. He is showing people that he cares for them and that God loves them. Is there someone you can help today? Bible Story: Healed at Last! Table Time: God Cares for the Sick Coloring Page Take Home Guide
