Welcome to the new Kindergarten Sabbath School class! I am your child's new teacher, Inga Goodwin. I am excited and humbled at the awesome privilege of helping your child know Jesus and the Bible better. In fact, I expect my students to master basic Bible knowledge and doctrine during our class time. In case you missed class or just want to review at home with your child what we did, below is a recap. Nature Nugget: Chipmunks Today, during our nature lesson we caught a chipmunk. We learned that God gave the chipmunk pockets in its cheeks so it can carry food and bedding to its den. It stays busy making its home and storing supplies for the winter. The chipmunk reminds us that, "the plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty" (Proverbs 21:5). Memory Mastery: Moses Receives the 10 Commandments This month we are memorizing the story and its location in the Bible, Moses Receives the 10 Commandments, found in Exodus 24 and 31:18. Please check out the Memory Mastery page for this handout. If children can recite this story by heart, along with where it is found in the Bible, they will receive a replica of the widow's mites to add to their Bible artifact collection! Please note that children will only receive a reward for fully memorizing their memory mastery objective. Mission Mail: Whose God is Stronger? Part 1 Check out this week's story at Adventist Mission.
